Yesterday, one of the bloggers I follow shared her “delusional wishlist”. TBH, this absolutely hits. I feel like everything off the top of my head that I would love as a Christmas present fall into two categories: things that just go in my bathroom and things that are way bigger and don’t necessarily fit into a present box.
To close out our gift guides and the month of November, here are the things Patti (would) love for the holidays:
Whenever Troy asks me for gift ideas, I tell him to just look around the bathroom and restock whatever is in my routine. New to the line is the Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask and the Frankly Pore Closer Serum. The NARS Explicit lipstick in Unrestrained has also popped up in my feed and I think I could rock it once it’s back in stock.
The Champagne & Caviar pajamas from Printfresh also are bit bougie and I love it.
Last year, I got to do the Bookstore challenge as a Christmas present. We went to B&N and had two minutes to pick up anything I wanted and could carry. I walked away with 10 books and I highly recommend it as a gift option. I’m not asking for the same this year, but these are the books I would choose:
Fox by Joyce Carol Oates (pre-order for July)
All Fours by Miranda July
Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors
Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins (the new Hunger Games prequel, preorder for March)
This year, for the girls Christmas present, we are taking them skiing/tubing/skating. It’ll be a full winter wonderland, climate change pending. So we’re heading to REI this week to snag snow gear from their sale. I love these Columbia snow pants. Similar ones here on Amazon.
When Troy and I first moved in together, we got a pretty solid set of pots and pans. Fourteen years later, we’ve given everything a good wear and have replaced almost everything except for a saucepan and a stock pot. For reference, the ceramic is chipping and apparently you’re supposed to replace pans every 5+ years. I picked these from All-Clad because of Meredith Hayden on TikTok.
I have been my dermatologist’s best friend this year, from getting scanned for sunspots to a Tretinnoin prescription. I’m also turning 40 next year, so I 100% told Troy he could buy me a round of Botox for a present.
Stocking Stuffers
Hot Cherry Pepper Spread – my new favorite condiment
Taper candles
Silk pillowcases
The best pens ever
Candy from BonBon Swedish Candy Co.
