As the holiday season approaches, my friends and family inevitably ask, “What do you want for Christmas?”
Honestly, I never know how to respond. Since I usually buy what I need or want as part of the never-ending Mom To-Do list, it’s hard to come up with thoughtful gift ideas. But this year, social media has definitely given me some inspiration. So call me influenced.
Here are the things I (would) love this holiday season:
iPhone 16 – Alright, my phone is practically ancient (think iPhone X). While I usually hold off upgrading a device if it still works, iOS updates are a different story.
LEGO Ideas Tuxedo Cat – Navigating adulthood in my twenties was both exhilarating and daunting. My steadfast companion during those years was my dear tuxedo cat who sadly passed away four years ago. Discovering a LEGO version of her was a delightful surprise, and having this set would be a cherished reminder of her. I also love their Botanical and Architecture sets.
Makeup Brush Cleaner Machine – As I get older, I realize that time is valuable. Consequently, washing makeup brushes thoroughly isn’t at the top of my list. This might also be why I’ve opted to go makeup-free in public. So when this gadget popped up on my social feeds, I instantly added it to my holiday wishlist.
Water Flosser Pick – I floss regularly, but having a permanent retainer on my front bottom teeth makes it a bit tricky. To simplify things, my dental hygienist recommended using a water flosser. (similar)
The Sage HeadSpa – This location opened up near my house this year. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at least a little curious about all the hype. Scalp + hair + facial? Count me in!
Stocking Stuffers
L’Oreal Mascara in Deep Burgundy – I recently saw a makeup influencer rave about how burgundy mascara can make brown eyes pop. I’d like to test that theory myself.
Musuubi Cooking Chopsticks – I completely blame my culinary show binge-watching for wanting these.
Splatypus Jar Spatula – I’m a fan of fun, quirky, kitchen tools and this jar spatula made me lol.
Cast Iron Chainmail Scrubber – Anything to make cleaning a cast iron easier automatically goes onto the wishlist.
